Devoted followers of the actress are calling for that a individual who leaped a barricade and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.
A circulating video depicts the Australian man shoving aside photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.
Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the event by event staff.
Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was due to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.
This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.
"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.
"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.
Many supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.
"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another message on Instagram.
Some fans also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded online networks to block Mr Wen's content.
In footage spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.
Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
Hundreds of fans had congregated in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it commenced.
The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the second of a dual interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which centers on the surprising bond between two very different witches.
The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.
They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.
The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen Oscar nominations, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
