Correspondence Uncover Jeffrey Epstein and former Trump strategist Connection

In November 2018, Steve Bannon, previously Donald Trump's chief strategist, was in the UK to deliver a address at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by hundreds of protesters, and Bannon, scheduled to board a flight that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters slowed down speech don't think I can catch the flight we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "There. Is a gulf air departing at 9:50 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "You are an excellent assistant".

These messages were released on Wednesday together with over 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the late convicted sex offender.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee includes an text conversation where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets has been able to establish his identity by matching the timeline, events, and places mentioned.

For instance, Epstein talks about chartering a jet from Scotland for the unnamed individual in the messages, and commends their "Oxford speech". Bannon took part in the Edinburgh conference on 14 November, and delivered the talk at the Oxford Union two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any misconduct, did not reply on the request for comment.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon was one of the president's closest aides in the run up to the 2016 election and in the early days of his presidency, but resigned from the White House in 2017.

He has admitted he was producing a film about Epstein prior to his death and allegedly has around 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his podcast earlier this year, he stated: "We're going to publish the series, the multi-part documentary, next year - at the start of next year."

But the newly released documents suggest Bannon's relationship with Epstein extended than being his biographer, with the convicted paedophile occasionally appearing to serve like a aide.

The published communications also show Bannon and Epstein talking about UK politics in 2018.

Earlier on the same day his address at the Oxford Union, Bannon texted Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit issue this morning with Farage, Johnson and Mogg."

Then, in what appears to be a allusion to the UK prime minister, the struggling UK prime minister at the time, he added: "The guys are attempting to proceed. May today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "In my view remaining as much as you can in the UK. Best-- so people get the dedication of your follow-up."

Soon after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa May survive". Bannon replied: "It seems unlikely BUT the guys here have little courage" and noted "Boris ; Michael Gove; Rees Mogg; David Davis - somebody has to step up".

Theresa May was eventually toppled in May 2019 after surviving multiple attempts of lack of support in December 2018.

A spokesman for the political party informed media: "Farage has not been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Boris Johnson." And there is no evidence such a meeting took place.

The US House of Representatives will vote soon on whether the Department of Justice should release all its files concerning its investigation into Epstein, who passed away in jail in that year.

Interest in Epstein's associations with powerful figures was renewed recently after the release of more than 20,000 documents from his archives.
